Which one would you choose…

to piss someone off or to make someone upset?

i would rather piss someone off cuz then you can just yell and yell and yell at each other then leave it. but if you hurt someone, i think it’s taking things a bit too far… it’s one thing to piss someone off and get them all annoyed and shit, but to really hurt them is definately not nice.  what does it say about a person anyway, if they know they’re hurting you yet but don’t give a shit.  what kind of person can make you cry then just turn away?

“No man is worth your tears and the one who is won’t make you cry.”

that statement takes it a bit too far cuz people can unintentionally make you unhappy, but there’s always a choice, and … when they know they have hurt you, thcy can always make it better. but when this option comes up and they still don’t take it, then i think that really says something…

what to do when that happens…………………. how forgiving or understanding should you be… when is enough enough…

From Aesop’s Fables…

The Two Pots

Two Pots had been left on the bank of a river, one of brass, and one of earthenware. When the tide rose they both floated off down the stream. Now the earthenware pot tried its best to keep aloof from the brass one, which cried out: ¡§Fear nothing, friend, I will not strike you.¡¨

¡§But I may come in contact with you,¡¨ said the other, ¡§if I come too close; and whether I hit you, or you hit me, I shall suffer for it.¡¨

The strong and the weak cannot keep company.

  1. it depends what my intention is – if that person has given me a jab, i would say “piss them off”.  if the person gave me a v. personal jab, i would say “make them sad”.  i don’t always believe in the statement that you should fight vinegar with honey.  why give someone a chance for redemption if they don’t deserve it.  self-preservation is v. important.

  2. first i would piss them off, then i would make them upset… because i’m just that mean. muahahahahaha. But what if someone cries because they’re pissed off? or what if someone who’s upset doesn’t cry? i guess making someone cry is going too far either way? but what if someone is just really sensitive? or is there ever justification for making someone upset? too circumstantial, it’s hard to say. maybe i’m just an insensitive jerk and that’s why i can’t answer ur questions… yeah.. that’s it!
